Position:  Telecommunications Engineer

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 10+ years’ experience in telecommunications
  • 3+ years of project management experience with the ability to manage tasks under tight deadlines
  • 5+ years working for a power/utility company creating engineering designs, construction packages, BOM’s, and providing engineering support of construction
  • Engineering design experience with the following technologies: Microwave and RF communications, fiber, Digi, VSAT
  • Strong sense of methodology, process, and metrics in managing functions and projects
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects

 

Position:  Mechanical Engineer

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Senior Mechanical Engineering
    • 10 + years as a Mechanical Engineer doing design work in a Hydro systems environment
    • BS in Mechanical Engineering. MS in Engineering and/or PE preferred
    • Design mechanical facilities and installations, review plans and specifications, estimate costs and perform cost analysis
  • Assistant Mechanical Engineer
    • 1+ years as an intern or ME in a government environment or with a company that provides services to government entities
    • BS in Mechanical Engineering
    • Understanding of principles and practices of mechanical engineering as applied to design, construction, inspection, operation, maintenance, repair and improvement of systems
    • Computerized control systems and instrumentation
    • Some exposure to building codes and safety regulations.
    • Hydro systems of any kind is preferred.

 

Position:  Electrical Engineer

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Senior Electrical Engineering
    • 10 + years as a Mechanical Engineer doing design work in a Hydro systems environment
    • BS in Electrical Engineering. PE strongly preferred. MS in Engineering is of value.
    • Experience doing designs, specifications, and cost estimates and maintaining and updating power distribution models
    • Experience overseeing electrical power coordination studies and short circuit and Arc Flash analyses.
    • Design electrical, instrumentation, and control system facilities and installations
  • Assistant Electrical Engineer
    • 1+ years as an intern or EE in a government environment or with a company that provides services to government entities.
    • BS in Electrical Engineering
    • Hydro systems of any kind are preferred

 

Position:  Environmental Engineer

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 3 + years as an Environmental Engineer
  • BS in Engineering.
  • Principles of environmental compliance assurance.
  • Principles of environmental sciences.
  • Mathematical compilation and analysis.
  • Principles of chemistry and chemical reactions.
  • Effects of waste material on water quality and land quality and the interactions of waste with the environment.
  • Laws, codes, regulations, and policies affecting the department's operations and programs

 

Position:  NERC CIP Specialist

Required Skills/Experience:

  • BS Degree required. MS Degree preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience NERC/FERC Reliability Standards, including regulatory standards as related to the following registration categories: Transmission Owner, Transmission Operator, Generation Owner and Generation Operator
  • Experience with Cyber Vulnerability Assessments, NERC CIP Compliance Audits WECC
  • Performing GAP analysis and designing change management plans.
  • Understanding of SCADA and Hydro systems.

 

Position:  FERC NERC CIP Specialist – Physical Security

Required Skills/Experience:

  • BS Degree required. MS Degree preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience NERC/FERC Reliability Standards, including regulatory standards as related to the following registration categories: Transmission Owner, Transmission Operator, Generation Owner and Generation Operator. Experience with Dams and water facilities is highly desirable.
  • Experience identifying Critical Assets and Critical Cyber Assets; providing cyber or physical security services for an electrical utility
  • Experience with Emergency Preparedness and Operations, Protection and Control, and Transmission Operation reliability standards that are applicable to pumping plants, power plants, and transmission lines.
  • Experience with Cyber Vulnerability Assessments, NERC CIP Compliance Audits WECC
  • Performing GAP analysis and designing change management plans.
  • Understanding of SCADA and Hydro systems.

 

Position: Project Manager – Power/Utilities

Required Skills/Experience:

  • BS Degree required. MS Degree preferred
  • 10+ years’ project management experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience working in the power industry with a strong background in IT operations, telecommunications, SCADA, and security projects.
  • Ability to develop a project plans and manage multiple network infrastructure and security upgrade projects concurrently including large scale (multi-million dollar projects.
  • Experience with developing, tracking and forecasting project financials
  • Experience coordinating engineering design team, construction team, sub-contracted vendors and workflow prioritization among groups. Also coordinate any efforts needed by various Departments such as Land, Environment, Electric, Distribution, Transmission, etc.
  • Experience communicating with other lines of business and coordinate and provide weekly status updates which include a risk register, work completed, upcoming week tasks, and updated completion dates for milestone tasks.
  • Must be highly skilled in record management Microsoft Project for project scheduling.

 

Position: SharePoint Developer

Required Skills/Experience:

  • BS Degree required.
  • 10+ years’ hands on work experience in information technology
  • 5+ years’ SharePoint design and programming experience.
  • Specific experience should include:
    • Installation and configuration, farm administration, site and site collection administration, design, and customization
    • Content management/EDMS Administration including managed metadata, site collection columns and content types, custom document templates
    • Farm, site collection, site and content migration using SharePoint backup and restore, PowerShell, SharePoint site copy and move, Metalogix Content Matrix and Content Organizer. Includes shared drives to SharePoint, SharePoint to SharePoint, Livelink to SharePoint
    • 2 years’ experience providing SharePoint training to user
